Repping Uptown Underground for the last 23 years, Henry Vengeance is a true battle tested soldier of the underground. If you were fortunate to catch one of his DJ sets Between 1995 and 2010 then you know he brings a style of hard techno that mixes his influences of New York, Detroit, Chicago, Berlin, and London.
Henry was the NY operative for the infamous Midwest fanzine, Massive Magazine, providing record reviews and conducting laid back interviews with artists and DJs such as Paul Johnson, Frankie Bones, Adam X, and Abe Duque. Henry was also the Managing Director of Intergroove US, which was responsible for the distribution of labels you loved such as Noom, Time Unlimited, Stay Up Forever, Plastic City, Phuture Wax, Tesseract, Fine Audio, Soap, Le Petite Prince, Hook, Bellboy, Tortured, Eukatech, Monoid, Tinrib, State of Mind, Molecular, and so many more. He has released music on labels such as Contrast UK, Thrust, X-Sight, Downside Up, and a variety of compilations including the “In The Mix” Series which enlisted mixes by DJs like Future Funk, DJ Kliprock, John Selway, and Frankie Bones. Wether you call him Henry Vengeance, Enriq Da Freq, Funky Vision, VFK, Pulse Plus, or any of the other monikers he has released under over the years, you will always find the core of his sound being defined by technical programming, structured sounds, and lots of deep subliminal layers. These days, Henry Vengeance is performing Live PA’s that deliver a full on Techno Assult that is for the headstrong.
